Polar Pools and Spas Agreements

Pebble Agreement

The contractor agrees to pebble the pool at the above address and guarantees that for a period of 2 years the pebble will be watertight and will not peel, blister or delaminate provided the pool structure remains sound; start-up procedures recommended by the builder or service company are followed, and all the water chemistry after start-up is properly maintained in accordance with the instructions from your builder or service company. Water chemistry consists of: total alkalinity, pH, hardness (calcium and magnesium), stabilizer levels, iron, copper, and total dissolved solids (TDS).

Since pebble is composed of natural materials, which have certain inherent characteristics, a certain amount of shading or color variation is a natural occurrence, which should not be construed as a defect and which only, enhances the natural beauty of your pool. Customer agrees that the pebble is NOT guaranteed for evenness of texture or color and may not be the exact shade anticipated. The shade and color may vary and fade over time. The pebble may become streaked, blotchy, or have a mottled appearance over which the contractor has no control. Customer understands that crazing (check cracks and hairline cracks) may be noticeable and may be quite pronounced with colored pebble.

No responsibility is assumed for existing tile left in pool as it might chip, crack or break bond due to vibration of chipping hammers. Also, tile repair may vary in color.

Due to atmospheric conditions (humidity, temperature, etc.) during application, light and/or dark streaks (a marbleized look) may appear in the pebble and may be more pronounced on a cloudy day or at night with the light on. These conditions are beyond the contractor's control. Not responsible for acts of God (rain, dust storm, etc.)
